K–12 Fine Arts Mission Statement
All SPA students are encouraged to be inquisitive, independent thinkers who learn to solve problems, take creative risks, and express themselves. The K–12 Fine Arts program—spanning music, theatre, and the visual arts—provides a rich environment in which all students can discover and develop their own creative potential. Sequentially based, and designed to engage all four senses as well as the intellect, the curriculum ensures that every SPA student will have many opportunities to experiment, develop skills, and expand their dynamic understanding of the world through the arts. In the performing arts, SPA offers a professional studio environment for students to develop their talents.
